The Problem

Green with Fashion is a charity, eco-fashion show, which will spotlight environmentally-friendly designers from all over the country. The idea for the event was first created as a senior project at Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA), but has since evolved into a way to not only celebrate eco-conscious designers, but educate the community on environmental issues. So far, over 25 designers and boutiques have agreed to take part in the event and have their designs in the show. In addition to locally- and nationally-known designers, Drexel fashion design students will also be unveiling their own sustainable sportswear collections. I want to show the Philadelphia community that you can be kind to the environment and still look great!

Plan of Action

The event will be held on April 22nd. I have already done much of the planning, now it is just about the details. The venue has already been confirmed -- the FUEL Collection in Old City (better known as MTV's Real World Philly house). More than 25 generous designers have agreed to take part in the show... Now the concentration is on getting a great showing at the event.
