B.E.S.T.- Board Expression Session Time This is a true green program. We take old surfboards destined for the trash, and recycling them into a canvas for children to use for art projects.Through out the program we encourage ocean knowledge, beach restoration (litter prevention), and overall youth enrichment that combines creativity, communication, and teamwork, all building the child's confidence. This program is a great way to watch children work together on a team project from concept to completion, as well as putting their individual impression on a piece of art, that they have created. This is an in school/class program. H.O.P.E.- Help Ocean Pollution End The goal of this program is a noble one, the restoration and preservation of our oceans and beaches. This program will accomplish this through in class education, on-site hands on activism (beach clean-up), and exposure to multimedia and visual aids of pertinent issues that will evoke thought, on proactive solution to pollution and its prevention. We will strive to teach that green is not just a color, but a way of life. Although the program has many long term goals, educating tomorrows youth is the only way that we can stop failing future generations of our precious natural resources. From passion ...comes action! T.U.N.A - Together Understanding Nature's Aquarium The T.U.N.A. program is all about educating children on the importance of preserving our oceans, beaches, and waterways. Candidates are selected to explore what the ocean has to offer through fishing a full day upon our 18 foot vessel. H2FLO gives the opportunity to these candidates to explore and to learn an appreciation for the ocean. These candidates will fully comprehend all parts of the ecosystem, and the importance of sustainability for life. The T.U.N.A. program offers in class presentations with audio-visual aids, instruction on the different types of fishing equipment and their purpose, and hands on experience. The goal of this program is to give the candidates the ability to utilize the tools and information necessary to advocate conservation for the next generation and empower the youth of today to preserve our oceans for fishing tomorrow. W.A.V.E- Fun & Confidence This program allows children the opportunities that they might not have open to them. By acknowledging a child's interests and fueling that passion with immersing them in new arenas of possibility, they can render their own interpretations and perceptions through real life experiences. This program's motivational approach and commitment to confidence building is its foundation for a successful candidate and their life enrichment. We believe strongly that the ocean changes lives, just as it changes the earth everyday.
