The Problem

The group I am involved with is focused on supplying low income families affordable housing. Not only do volunteers aid the construction of homes, but also help fundraise and supply funds for materials and etc...

Plan of Action

While involved with Habitat for Humanity, I will help set up fundraising events to help fund the supplies that go into constructions of houses that will one day become the home of a family. I have already helped launch a lunch for fundraising, and I am currently in the process of finalizing a fundraising concert. If this concert goes as planned, we will have the appropriate funds to begin the construction of a home. The first ever house in Bergen County to be built by funds raised solely by youth members.
