The Problem

The worst earthquake and tsunami hit Japan on 3/11/11. Thousands of people are missing and tens of thousands of people are in need. There are so many children who are affected by this and I want to give them the emotional help they need by writing letters individually to let them know we are thinking of them and believe in them that they will be OK.

Plan of Action

We've already collected 450+ letters and message cards, we went to Japan to meet and hand deliver those letters to children in Miyagi in Japan. It sounds the project is completed because we've done what we promised to do. However, the project is not done just yet. We've met people there, talked to them what they would need from now on and what they are hoping us to do next. The disaster can be forgotten quickly but the survivors of the devastated tsunami of Japan are still suffering and in need of our help. Our next goal is to discuss what we can do NEXT and how we could contribute our help in the most sustainable and effective ways.
