The Problem

This year the project I was involved in fed over 200 families in my community. This is a project that helps the local people because most of the people being helped went to my school or surrounding schools. Many people aren't able to afford food so we were able to provide them with a full Thanksgiving diner and a weeks-worth of food.

Plan of Action

In order to get cans from our school we charged 3 cans for admission to our Homecoming pep rally. We threw a "blackout" dance and charged a 5-7 can admission, and last we had a competition between the classes at school to see who could bring in the most cans. When we got the cans we had to organize all of them by category then divide them among 200 families. Then the families came to the school and we gave them their food.
