Hats for Babies

the problem:

We want to do something nice for new babies and parents in our community.

vital stats:

people impacted:

849

people involved:

150

why it's important:

We learned how to use a loom to knit hats. We are knitting hats for newborn babies. These hats will look cute on the babies and be a keepsake for them.

the plan of action:

We bought some looms in the size that is needed to make newborn hats (Knifty Knitter blue loom). We learned how to make the hats. My mom also learned how to knit the hats with needles, so she makes them that way.

how you can get involved:

We are going to have a contest with prizes on www.ravelry.com! There will be prizes for the most hats sent in and we will also have other categories! Prizes to be determined, but will most likely be yarn and needles.
