HB Dress Drive

I have been in contact with the administration and associated student body from the different high schools in the Huntington Beach school district, as well as dry cleaning companies and department stores to ensure the success of my project and event. From there I wrote to our local newspaper, and had an article written about my project, which received a lot of response. The community has responded with such positive attitude! My dress drive hasn't technically started, yet I have already gotten so much support and donations. From the event I hope that I inspire others to reach out and make a difference in someone else's life, because it is so easy. I also want young girls to realize that not everyone has the same privledges as them nor the same opprotunities, so they shouldn't take anything for granted. It is so easy to get caught up in a materialistic society, but I want them to know that girls sitting next to them in class might not get that chance.
