The project will consist of a one-day project which would entail a health awareness seminar hosted by diet and health professionals who will be informational on health issues in an effort to prevent future health ailments such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, screenings, etc. which will be primarily for youth participants and adults are welcomed for information and screenings as well. The health fair portion of the event will be held tentatively at Burbank Elementary School 2035 N. Mobile, Chicago, Illinois on Saturday April, 19th , 2007 at 10:00 a.m and the Choir and Dance concert will be held at the same location and same date at 6:00 p.m. With the promotions by Divine Purpose Ministries volunteers we feel as though we can get a great response for youth participants to become health aware and to sing, dance and volunteer their time while receiving school community hours for those who need them. Ultimately Divine Purpose Ministries goal will be to get youth members all over the Chicago land area to have a working knowledge of Divine Purpose Ministries various programs that are offered on a consistent basis to give our youth an outlet outside of their schools to stay off the streets and participate in mind and talent enhancing activities. Divine Purpose Ministries is a 501© (3) federal tax-exempt organization who is open to various funding opportunities to assist with the funding of this proposed project. In the near future we will be distributing information with rehearsal dates and locations for all interested youth to participate in preparation for this event.
