Healthy Eating: Starting Them Young

the problem:
Students in an elementary school will be encouraged to engage in healthy eating habits. Students will be exposed to numerous multimedia presentations and lessons and given handouts to help them learn about healthy eating. Those children who present the core or pit of a recently eaten fruit will be given a raffle ticket. All tickets will be entered into a grand raffle where numerous prizes related to healthy eating such as subscriptions to "Fruit of the Month Clubs" can be won.
