The Problem

Since 1988, Baltimore Reads’ goal has been to improve the quality of life for educationally disadvantaged families in Baltimore.

Plan of Action

The Ripken Adult Learning Center was added under the Baltimore Reads’ umbrella in 1997 to continue promoting the legacy of literacy shared by Baltimore Reads and Cal Ripken. The Center is a full-service learning program focused on assisting adults in reaching their academic and employment goals. Learning Centers all over Baltimore City!!!
