Help Us To Help Them

We are thinking about a concert, basketball game, and selling buttons or t-shirts to help us raise money to send to Haiti. For the week of 1.25.10-1.29.10 we have gone classroom to classroom raising money. So far we have raised a little over 600 dollars. In the two weeks that we go classroom to classroom, we hope to raise at least a 1000 dollars. With that money we wish to buy a housing tent for the Haitians. Each tent is priced at 1000 dollars. They can hold a minimum of 14 people and come equiped with a sink and toilet. It can also house electricity. After we finish our class to class donating, we plan to start fundraising. We have ordered some buttons that we are going to sell, and also have many ideas for after school fundraisers we can do. The money from those ideas are going directly to a disaster relief charity that sends money to Haiti. We hope all goes well.
