the problem:
The problem I am trying to solve is sex-tourism or more commonly known as "sex-trafficking" in Thailand and more generally, South East Asia.

100why it's important:
This is important to me because I feel that people's rights are being violated in one of the most perverse ways possible. These vulnerable people are being taken advantage of and I can not just sit back and do nothing. If I'm not part of the solution then I am part of the problem.
the plan of action:
My plan of action is to do a volunteered internship for SEALETA in Mai Sai, Thailand for the entire summer. There I will help educate young girls of the dangers of sex tourism as well as delve deeper into stopping the sex-trafficking.
