In our community there is a high percentage of drugs and alcohol abuse but I try to create positive activites drug and alcohol free. I have organized basketball and volleyball tournaments which have given youth a great oppurtunity to create better positive choices. It is my desire to continue to present positive activities for the youth in my community. I also sit as a student advisor for CHOICES (Citizens Helping Our Island Children End Substance Abuse) a coaliton in our community. This grant would help accomplish more activities for the youth in our community.
