The Problem

Hold On Another Day wants to use music as an alternative way to help inspire people when they are feeling depressed, alone or need a pick me up. Specifically, Hold On Another Day wants to help show support for soldiers serving overseas by creating mixtapes of inspirational, uplifting music to remind them why they are fighting. Many soldiers suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder upon returning from their service, so Hold On Another Day hopes to aid them by using music as a way to inspire a positive attitude.

Plan of Action

Hold On Another Day follows a one-to-one business model. For every CD sold, Hold On Another Day donates a CD to a partner, non-profit organization. Hold On Another Day has partnered with the non-profit, Operation Gratitude, which sends care packages to soldiers serving overseas. For every CD sold, HOAD will donate a CD to Operation Gratitude to send to a soldier. Hold On Another Day is currently seeking song submissions to complete its first compilation CD "Songs For Soldiers" which will raise awareness for soldiers serving overseas as well as use music to help show soldiers that we support them. HOAD proudly supports the local music scene, so each artist on the CD is an indie, unsigned musician who will sign a gratis license, giving us permission to use their song on our compilation. In the future, Hold On Another Day will create other compilation CDs for other causes.
