The Problem

Spina Bifida is the #1 cause of PARALYSIS in children in America, and yet it is grossly overlooked by society. The mission of "Holdin' Out for a Hero" is to make "spina bifida" a household word, and through awareness, to improve the quality of life for individuals with this condition.

Plan of Action

Through my daily blog, I am connecting people, both with SB and without SB, and empowering them to raise awareness in their respective communities. Social media can have a great exponential impact on this awareness campaign. I also tweet at @Laurita86.
