The Problem

The Holy Half aims to encourage people to train for running a half marathon, whose proceeds goes to help people in need. In the past, race revenues have been donated to Broadmoor community in New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina relief. This year, proceeds will be donated to three charities in the South Bend, IN, area: St. Adalbert school, Michiana Down Syndrome, and Center for the Homeless.

Plan of Action

We plan to increase advertising to get over 1,000 runners this year for the April 10, 2011 race date. Last year, we donated $15,000 to the Broadmoor Improvement Association, and this year we hope to raise even more for the South Bend charities.
