Texas Episcopal Disaster Relief and Development is dedicated to rebuilding and repairing homes damaged from Hurricane Ike through the use of volunteer labor.

why it's important:

Over $24 Billion worth of damage was caused along the Texas Coast from Hurricane Ike and thousands of homes were damaged. We are working to help those less fortunate fix their homes. Every smile we put on a face makes this worthwhile.

the plan of action:

We have already used more than 1500 volunteers that have worked over 20,000 hours to repair more than 125 homes. We will continue to use volunteer labor to repair homes.
