Hurricane Katrina Relief Mission Trip

the problem:
We were helping people in Galveston with rebuilding their homes that had been destroyed by the devastation of hurricane Katrina.

18why it's important:
I love to help everyone, and it was the perfect opportunity for me to spread the love of Jesus, and to also grow to be thankful for God's riches and grace.
the plan of action:
We spent probably eight hours a day cleaning brush, painting walls, and scraping or sanding drywall.
how you can get involved:
We did this through a mission church in Galveston, and many other groups from around the nation were helping too.
