I.H.S. CROSS

CROSS, Christians Reaching Out Serving our Savior, is my school's bible/drama team. We go to different churches and youth organizations to perform skits, mimes, and puppet routines, all to glorify God. We have a great impact on our community, and we try to target the youth in the area. We want them to see that there is a life beyond sex, drugs, alcohol, and abuse. Another aspect of CROSS is that we help those that cannot help themselves in some way. We are a non-profit organization, and we do fundraisers so that we can help those in need. Such examples include paying for funerals of people that could not afford it themselves. We also helped a boy that wanted to have his wish fufilled by the Make-A-wish foundation to have a ride on a train. So, not only is CROSS about glorifying God, we are about glorifying the citizens of our community.
