Performing arts has been my passion for all my life. I'm very involved in dance, music, and theatre, and I feel bad that some children and teens throughout the community do not have exposure to the arts because of cost or availibility. My plan is to teach dance and acting lessons as well as hold plays and musicals for youth. I plan to hold these classes and activities free of charge so that any youth can join if they want to. Although I have a plan in my head, some things have become issues such as a space to hold classes and how to get the word out to youth. If possible, I would teach ballet, Irish, jazz, and lyrical dance classes, and either help with already existing theatre programs or start my own plays and musicals for youth. I would also love to help with or hold my own theatre and music summer camps/workshops. All of these activities would be open to all ages, and would be free. I hope that someday soon, my dream can become a reality and help the youth of my community become involved in and appreciate the arts.
