improving atmosphere

the problem:
I want to gather a couple of friends from the neighborhood and plant trees and flowers to make Fresh Meadows live up to its name(fresh meadows- more greener!)and have less pollution in the air.

0why it's important:
it is important to me because i want to make my neighborhood more safe and pollution-free so that everyone is healthier. I want people to think that fresh meadows is actually like a meadow and not just a place that has a nice name.
the plan of action:
i want to form a club in my high school (Francis Lewis high school)where the students gather money from community services like a car wash or a carnival for young kids and use that money to buy trees and flowers and plant them all over the neighborhood.
