Increase Your Green

One of my plans is to help out with already existing recycling programs on campus and get the students more involved, I am an Resident Assistant at the dorms; so i can make posters that inform the students to turn off there electronics when they are not using them, i know the managers at the School Cafe we can set up Eco-friendly items on the menu, Our school is getting a program together that reward students for buying a bottle and they get a discount on drinks for using this bottle. this is a lot more getting new paper cups every time we get food. One of my clubs goals is to get everyone to go to therainforestsite.com and click on button. This button donates money to save 11.4 square feet of rain-forest for every person who clicks. I also wanted to put together a community trash days, this will be where members of the community will get together and go to local parks or along the roads and pick up trash and debris.
