The Problem

Every year millions of things are recycled. However, millions of things that should be recycled, end up in landfills. One example of those things is aluminum cans. Cans For A Cause recycles aluminum cans and donates the money to different charities. I have posted about this program before, but I am now going ahead with an update. Before, Cans For A Cause only donated to the rescue mission in my home town. Now however, we are applying for 501)c)3 status and creating a website. We will also be creating either monthly or yearly service groups which would be different charities that will receive donations from the groups participating. With my program Cans For A Cause, through recycling aluminum cans, you cannot only make a difference in the environment, but in the lives of millions.

Plan of Action

We will be creating a website, where you will be able to sign up for information and, eventually, I will have a Cans For A Cause Kit that you will be able to download with tons of great information. I will then proceed to talk to different local recylers who pick up at schools, colleges, and just around the town to request Cans For A Cause Weeks, where all or half of the cans collected during that week, will be donated to Cans For A Cause. This way, we are getting the whole community involved. It is important to me that we, as a community, take care of each other. Cans For A Cause is a simple and easy way to do this.
