The Problem

*This is the description from the website* The International House of Blues Foundation reaches thousands of students, teachers and others annually nationwide with arts and cultural educational programming that promotes cultural understanding and encourages creative expression. IHOBF programs are primarily offered to 5th-12th grade students and teachers in IHOBF locations and are also made available to other youth, adult and community groups. My Description: International House of Blues Foundation targets kids who primarily don't get a chance of a good education and often live in a rougher environment. This organization influences them to create goals in life and allows them a chance to create their own pieces of art or play their own songs on different instruments as a way to express themselves and what they love in life. The main goal of this organization is to give kids enough self confidence and understanding of the importance of education to make something of themselves in the world.

Plan of Action

Right now most people have never heard about the International House of Blues Foundation. My plan of action is to try to get people to either donate money or volunteer to truly help make a difference. Without money and help, the International House of Blues Foundation will not exist as many programs had to close already due to the lack of support. Money helps provide for buses within the local schools districts to transport kids to and from a certain IHOBF location. It also helps pay for art supplies and music supplies which are used to educate the kids. These kids shouldn't have to pay their way to come to IHOBF on their own as many are struggling already. Volunteers help to curb the budget and give the kids empowerment. They are a crucial necessity to have and currently not enough people volunteer for IHOBF. It is time to step up the game and show your support for this cause.
