The Problem

There were hundreds of children in Uganda ranging mostly from ages 7-15 who were abducted by leader of the Lord's Resistance Army, Joseph Koney, in Uganda and used as child soldiers. Now that most of these child soldiers have been rescued, this club is now working on "Schools for Schools" which is a project to rebuild the schools in the war-torn areas of Uganda so these children may have equal educational opportunities after such a tragedy. Our goal is to raise money to donate so that several schools can have clean running water, supplies, computers, etc. Extra money would also be contributed to another Invisible Children Project called "Legacy" which gives full scholarships to these children in Uganda. We also strive to spread the word and since our club is mostly limited to our school we want to raise awareness in our communities also so that this project reaches out to the public.

Plan of Action

Our plan of action include several steps: 1.) We noticed that there are many people who are not aware of Invisible Children. We would like to bring awareness of this cause to the public in our area so that there are more people for the cause. 2.) Our goal is to raise money to donate and send to the program "schools for schools". We do not have a set limit because there is no exact amount that is needed. Every amount contributes to the reconstruction of these schools. 3.) Last but not least, we are set on keeping this an ongoing project as it once was by fulfilling our duty in promoting the cause and raising the cost.
