Inviting Presidential Candidates to our School

the problem:

My journalism class is awaiting responses from Democratic and Republican presidential candidates to see if they could come speak at our school.

Our purpose is to educate the community, especially first-time voters, our journalism class that loves to analyze our "real reporters" write and organize, parents, teachers, community members, and more! We are not asking for people to be interested in politics, but for them to soak up this incredible experience of a future president coming to our school. Just to see them in person and listen to them speak would be an honor.

We're hoping for the best. We hope candidates respond postively and come to our school.

Wish us luck.
