Jackets Unwanted
the problem:
We are trying to help the homeless people in Auckland city during the winter by collecting up as many unwanted jackets/coats from Aucklanders that still have it good in the recession and giving those jackets to the homeless.

1why it's important:
This is the project that will hopefully get Cul Cids recognised in community and that will get us started on helping more people because more people will know about us. I am thinking about linking it to a financial eductaion session because they both have to do with money if you think about it. So the reason for the project is to get better known.
the plan of action:
To get the local radio stations to mention what we're doing and to get in to the local newspapers. Ten we will get some members to go to community get-togethers to round up the coats. We are hoping to raise $500 and 200 coats for the Auckland City Mission.

By spreading the word, joining the club, collecting up coats from local events or by donating money or coats/jackets.
