The Problem

We try to collect Jeans for homless teens and children in foster care.Winter is approaching and we don't want them to be cold.

Plan of Action

We involved our entire school district to help out. We set up boxes at many schools and churches to collect the Jeans. We announced it in the news papers, church bulletins and the principals daily announcements. We sorted through 600 pairs of Jeans that were donated. We are getting ready to distribute the Jeans to homeless shelters and foster care organizations.

Project Updates

We ditributed the 600 pairs of Jeans to the Los Angeles Youth network ( A homeless shelter for teens), and to the Juvenile Shelter Care Program in Monterey Park.
