Our club was able to collect 136 pairs of jeans from the Jean 4 Teens drive. We donated 40 pair to Aeropostale and the other 100 pairs were donated to a local organization, Charitable Deeds. They are a non-profit organization that gives food and clothing to families in need in our local area.

Helping other kids our age is important to our club because we understand that the economy isn't at it's best right now and that it's hard for some teens to afford clothing. Donating jeans helps you to feel like you've helped others.
the plan of action:
We place collection bins in our school at the beginning of the school year and keep the collection going on all throughout the year to make our collection amount of jeans very large. Once we are done collecting the jeans we count them up and then drop them off at Aeropostale.
how you can get involved:
Local community members can bring by their unwanted jeans and donate them to our collection.

Hey our 4-H club loves this idea and we would like to take part, but when is the new project for 2010 start.
We start our collection at the beginning of the school year and we will end it in January of 2010.
i love the idea and im getting involved im gona talk 2 my principle and see if he likes the idea also i hope he does wish me luck!
We wish you luck and if you offer an incentive it usually gets more involved.
