The Problem

I want the world to be a better place; each and every generation deserves a chance for a brighter future. Every year I go and volunteer at the library, over the years I’ve accumulated 276 hours of volunteer service. I love seeing the look on a child’s face during the program we run, but with increasing number of kids showing up we need more and more funding, we get donations and some government grants but we come from a tiny community and most don’t even know were on the map, our program originally started out with 50 kids per week, last year we had a record breaking 550 kids! We give out free books and various gift certificates, and try to show children the fun side to reading we do a simple craft that ties into the theme, along with various activities. were working to help provide for a brighter future, helping your children and the children yet to come.

Plan of Action

We provide free books along with a veiw of some of the books in our very own library and also show the fun side to learning. It really pays off to see the sparkle in the kids eyes as they read something they really enjoy and understand. Most of these kids come from single families or low income families, so by helping them see a brighter future it can really help out.
