The Problem
I'm not trying to solve anything. It's about awareness that I'm giving. We can ease the ignorance of at-risk youth and acknowledge that for some, being at home isn't always the best place. Take it from me, people would of never known of my childhood and lifestyle. And at times, it's tough, but there needs to be a support system for these kids and these support systems need help. After thinking "Home" should be the place you turn to, but it really isn't -- now where do you turn to if you're 6? 12? 19? 24?
Plan of Action
It's all a matter of spreading the word, getting funding and executing this project to the fullest extent. I won't stop either. It'll be submitted to Film Festivals. It'll be given to anybody who wants to learn, to anybody who needs a reminder that they aren't alone in the pain and hopes they are dealing with. I've already been told that this is a story that many people are scared to touch base on and that I've taken a great leap on committing to this project. It has already touched a lot of my friends but I want everybody to experience it.
