JuneBug - Holistic Sociology

the problem:

June Bug promotes something I have termed Holistic Sociology. It is Holistic/ transformational education for urban youth. Our programs combine holistic, ecological & sustainable living, with cultural arts. We aim to promote community and health through each person's individual healing journey. Our premise is that as a person becomes more whole, with a larger and larger view of themselves, their view of themselves within their communities will change. We hope to recruit, educate and inspire our next generation of artists, activists, leaders, and healers. Our programs and events are slated to begin next spring. They include agricultural internships, entrepreneurial workshops, art & activism festivals, and workshops led by some of the leading voices in activism today.
