The Problem

This is the Bishop George Ahr Chapter of Keep A Child Alive. Our original idea was to host a picnic to raise money but instead we started a chapter at our school to raise money and awareness for HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Plan of Action

We do year wide activies to raise money and awareness. This year alone we've raised close to 1200$. We've held bakesales, red ribbon sales, paper doll sales, movies, prayer services. etc. And we plan to get even bigger next year.

so! it's been a while been crazy busy with senior year and for me a new school!

but there's this pretty cool Keep A Child Alive contest going down where if you text "alive" to 90999 by march 31st you could potentially win a trip to Africa with Alicia Keys

and on may 16 there's an AIDS walk in nyc =]

We've been basically chilling for the summer but are still encouraging people to text alive to 90999. We've got some great things in the works for next school year and hope to expand KCABGA to an even larger crowd. =] Any ideas or suggestions please contact us at kcabga@live.com
