We are striving to form a bond between the community and its future leaders by training young adults to take charge of community well-being, and establishing a strong foundation for the future. We have done this by gathering many students and presenting multiple community service projects, as well as creating a club in the high school that meets and reaches out to the schools in the district. The FOR club has successfully created an out-reach/mentoring program within the district, made several presentations to the lower levels of schooling in order to fix the negative environment, and has branched out into our community in order to gain generational support and advice. Overall, the members of the FOR club have been challenged to step up as leaders in the community, and have taken on the responsibility of challenging their peers to rise to the same occasion. Because all of this is community service based, we do not have sufficient enough funds to bring in motivational speakers, start new service projects, and continue supporting the entirety of our members in all we choose to endeavor.
