The Problem
We are trying to Raise awarness about the effects on breast Cancer. By this each player will pledge to participate in a 24 hour soccer match. For every Minute they play there sponsor will donate whatever about of money they had agreed upon. By this what ever money is made will be donated and put towards helping Breast Cancer Research.
Why It's Important
there may be no more terrifying moment in woman’s life than finding a lump in her breast. If she has to tell the people she loves...husband, parents, children, partner, teammates, colleagues, friends, sisters, brothers...that it’s cancer, all of those lives are changed forever. It’s a disease that affects everyone in a women’s life. The soccer community now has an opportunity to ensure that every year fewer and fewer women must have that terrible conversation
The Plan Of Action
Our charity soccer game is held to raise funds Towards Breast Cancer. All fundraising in the form of player pledges and corporate sponsorships will go directly to this cause. This charity event is completely run by volunteers and we invite you to help out in whatever way you can. This will be fun, the more you pledge The more you have a chance at winning some awesome prizes. And To think at how much you will be helping someone, Perhaps A life.
How Can Others Get Involved?
Our 24hr game, (noon-Saturday to noon-Sunday), will be a focal of it's own special event weekend. There will be lots of fun and activities to do when you are not on the field defending your side.
Players raising pledges will receive a special uniform and will be eligible for great prizes to be drawn at the end of the game. The committee is also planning some special events under the lights to help us through the wee hours of the morning.

Raising breast cancer awareness is so important and I'm so excited to hear that you're doing it in such a creative (and healthy!) way...I LOVE soccer. Have you thought about reaching out to certain soccer players that would be interested in helping you? Maybe make an appearance at your soccer match or something? This would definitely increase the amount of money you could raise! It's a long shot, but what have you got to lose? :)
