Kids' Club

Kids Club currently serves 120 children after school Monday-Thursday. They receive the following services free of charge: tutoring, reading help, homework assistance, lessons in a sport or fine art area of their choice, snacks & dinner. Every child who attends Kids' Club must be referred by their teacher and must meet at least three of our at-risk-criteria. Kidsclubbers show consistent improvement in their academics and their behavior. The local public schools have noticed the dramatic improvement seen in the children they refer to Kids' Club and have begun to join forces with us and provide volunteers and resources to help further the project. We find that our service impacts not only the children, but also their families. We are seeing light shine on the darkest places in our community.
