Kids Meet Up Group
the problem:
We are a group of children with Aspergers Syndrome. We have trouble making friends and being social. Kids Meet Up Group allows us to make friends in a non threatening environment.

Our participants who did not have friends now have friends. They are calling each other on the phone, are getting together, are having sleepovers, and are having fun with their new friends.
the plan of action:
To get our kids together twice a month for social opportunities and fun!We have been together for two years now and have many participants. Our participants and families say good things about our group and how it is affecting them.
how you can get involved:
Others can help by volunteering to be a peer mentor for our participants or by assisting in organizing social opportunities or donating to keep the costs low.
