KidsRock4KIds
the problem:
KidsRock4Kids is a group of motivated High school students who understand that while the future is still a ways off, the time to act is now.It is our belief that it is not only the children of America who will help to shape future events, but the children round the world.

50why it's important:
My name is Rebecca Richardson and I am writing you on behalf of the KidsRock4Kids. Started by my daughter Tina, a 16 year old junior at Washington Community High School, KidsRock4Kids is a community of more than 20 young men and women, ranging from 13 to 19 who have come together to do their part and leave their mark on society in a positive way.
As we have grown over the last few months, we have begun to finalize our mission and fund raising goals. Since this entire group is run for teenagers by teenagers, our access to funds is for obvious reasons rather limited. We have decided it is time to reach out to community leaders for help.
KidsRock4Kids is a one-of-a-kind group in our area. It is rare to have such a large group of teenagers focused on being part of the solution instead of contributing to the problem.
the plan of action:
To provide youth with the opportunity to obtain valuable leadership skills through community service and cause awareness campaigns. To give members the chance to connect with peers both locally and virtually that are passionate about creating change and acting towards common goals. Furthermore by partnering with key organizations such as the Presidential Service Awards, members will have the opportunity to receive recognition both personally and in some cases financially for their efforts.
how you can get involved:
We are actively looking for teens between the ages of 13-19 who want to take part in this unique venture. We are also seeking to partner with local or national companies that will assist our effort to grow and incorporate KR4K into non-profit status.
