Kindness Counts!

the problem:

The Logan Avenue School Do Something Club felt that we should do something to help those families who were struck by the tragedy (tornado) in Greensburg, Kansas. These people really lost everything, in fact they lost just about the whole town, and we decided to do something! We had heard that the people didn't need clothing or large things right at the beginning but needed things like toothpaste, shampoo, soap, and all of the those items that were considered to be "personal." We made signs, sent home notes, and held an assembly in our school talking about how we were going to help these people by bringing necessities to school and then sending them to Greensburg. We are pleased to say that the kids and families at our school really came through! We were able to send 4 large boxes of needed items to Greensburg!
