The Problem

We are working to get young people involved in the political process to lead them away from gangs and violence.

Plan of Action

On November 21, 2009 LEAD hosted a LA Gathering to introduce different resources to young people in local charter schools. February 2010, LEAD has been planning service days to let young people share ideas and be involved in action steps to write legislation, learn about the political process, and be involved in their local communities March 2010, LEAD will begin local chapters in 6 high schools
