Vital Stats

See It

You don't have to starve yourself to lose weight. Instead, reward yourself with the right food. Join this project if you're looking for other people who want to reward themselves in a healthy way. Exchange funny diet stories, flavorful recipes, keep in touch with each other, and you'll be more likely to stick to a healthy lifestyle. Here's some useful facts to remember: --According to MSNBC, one extra can of pop a day can cause obesity in children. So drop the extra pop and drink a glass of milk or a mug of tea. --Humans have long intestines ideal for digesting vegetables. This means even the most addicted carnivores among us can enjoy increasingly veggie-heavy meals. Don't go straight up vegetarian though. You'll just land right back in the steak pit. --If you chew your food slowly, not only do you get more of the food's flavor; you feel more satisfied after swallowing than if you wolf it down. People tend to pig out when they're eating too fast, because their bodies don't have enough time to register how much food they chew. So reward yourself with lots of spices in your salads, stews and steaks. Explore a little and share your wisdom with us!
