The Problem

The problem is that there are too many young people out there who are apathetic and indifferent and what I want to do is eliminate that and instill a sense of compassion, action, and inspiration in people. So, by creating theatrical pieces that advocate for social change and global and local involvement, I think I can get one step closer to making a positive difference in the lives of others. The project's objective is to raise awareness of global issues and what people can do to help, and then motivating youth to take leadership roles and raise their voices to raise awareness.

Plan of Action

Through different organizations and clubs on campus at my college, I hope to collaborate with them to create a play or a series of individual monologues that send a message of social change and global awareness. It may take a while, since I, along with whoever wants to help, will be writing these theatrical pieces from scratch. But, in the long run, it will be well worth it.
