Let's Get Moving!

the problem:

This grant is being written to promote the Chasco Middle School Walking Club. In an effort to combat childhood obesity, Chasco Middle School students are encouraged to join the Walking Club. It meets daily before school, from 8:00 to 8:30. This year, students and teachers are walking their way around the United States without ever leaving our campus! Students can come to the track and meet friends and socialize while learning how to be healthier in addition to making better food choices. In addition, students in each grade level will compete against other grade levels and teachers to see who can walk the farthest around the United States.
