Let's Have a Happy Holiday: Help us be Santa this year!
the problem:
Remember what it was like the first time you were away from your family?
Many new immigrants come to this country alone, without family and friends. The holidays are a time when they are especially reminded of being so far away from home.

10why it's important:
10 years ago, Street Level Health Project started as an ALL VOLUNTEER RUN program. Today, volunteers are still needed to provide many of its free services.
Street Level is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of low-income urban immigrant communities in the Bay Area. About 50% of Street Level’s clients have been in the United States for less than 3 years.
Street Level serves over 1,000 people each year with free medical care, health education, and health care referrals and resources. Street Level also distributes lunch and donated clothes to over 2,500 people a year. All of these programs are free of charge.
the plan of action:
Kick off the holiday spirits this year by helping collect toys and gifts for Street Level’s annual Christmas party. This year, our holiday party (DEC 18th) will include over 500 men, women, and children from the community.
