0why it's important:
The DO SOMETHING Club members brainstormed ways to get all students to participate. We hoped for at least 25% participation. We got over 250 letters from grades Kindergarten through 5th!
the plan of action:
Students in the Brooks DO SOMETHING Club decided that the soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq needed morale boosting - so we found a teacher who had a son in the military stationed in both areas and advertised a letters to solders writing campaign.
