The Problem

I am a seventeen year old lesbian living in a cow town in Southeastern Massachusetts. I love my friends and family for accepting me for who I am, but I know of a lot of people who are still closeted and facing discrimination for their sexual orientation. I want to raise awareness of the problem to the oblivious administration and promote pride and tolerance in my conservative community.

Plan of Action

First off, the problem is money. Our administration has a tight budget and denied us our GSA on account of money issues. I am determined to still continue with this or at least set the ground rules for future students after I graduate. I need to apply for grants and am going to contact various GSAs in the area for backup.
