The Problem

The problem I am trying to solve is energy waste. In my community, it is an ongoing situation. There's always someone out doing a highway cleanup. At my high school, there is an environmental club. People in my community are trying to help solve global warming, and I am trying to be a part of that solution.

Plan of Action

First, I joined the environmental club at my high school. The club gave me ways to live a greener life, as well as fun ideas to spread. Next, I made the website for LG::LiveGreen. I have been updating almost daily and researching ways to become "green." LG::LiveGreen is an extremely new organization, so I know change won't happen overnight. I'm hoping that more people will see the website and will follow the steps to become a greener person. I hope to adopt a highway soon, and to start a fundraiser to help reduse waste.
