The Problem

I was a part of a group, LifeCorps, that worked to recruit blood donors during the summer--the slowest season for donations. Innumerable people need blood transfusions; and unfortunately people are not aware that there is actually a shortage of units available. Every donation made is absolutely crucial.

Plan of Action

Hopefully, I will be privileged to be a part of this group again this summer. Being selected for this group included an application, essay, and interview. Unfortunately, the coordinator of our group moved at the end of the summer, leaving the blood center without anyone to lead. I am currently working to become that leader this summer, enabling others to continue to better others' lives.
