The Problem

The ALTC is helping with member Jana Clinton's project to bring a Literacy Speaker Series to Penn State Main Campus. Our club seeks to increase awareness about the issue of illiteracy, specifically adult illiteracy, in our community and the larger national community. This Speaker Series will help to increase this community awareness of the problem of adult illiteracy.

Plan of Action

We have already contacted three distinguished speakers to attend our series. What we need to do now is: 1) Finalize dates for our Speaker Series 2) Secure a venue for our event 3) Get permits for any parking/space requests 4) Solicit donations for food/other items if funds do not cover all expenses 5) Advertise and promote our event 6) Carry out our successful event!
