We first created the name choosing Love Can't Be Baht. We chose "baht" instead of "bought" because "baht" is the currency of Thailand where human trafficking is very prevalent. Next, our church donated the capital of about $600 for us to order our first batch of t-shirts. Since then (July 2008) we have raised over $900 and have a presence on myspace, facebook and relationships with bands and music venues in central Indiana. Love Can't Be Baht plans to travel to such music festivals as Cornerstone, Ichthus, Purple Door and Warped Tour during the summer of 2009 to further promote the cause.
